When I’m writing and speaking, I bare my soul, breaking myself wide open because it’s the only way I know how to communicate, teach, help, learn, heal, and grow. My passion is to help others in this way to grow and heal and learn to step into who they are, to own their stories, to learn how strong they are. I share about “shameful” experiences, like sexual assault and domestic violence, therapy and mental health, shining light into the darkness for those who aren’t able to.
Every day, I straighten my tiara — my symbol of reclamation of self after a very painful past — and remember just who I am. And my goal every single day is to help others remember just who they really are.
I’m a Colorado-based speaker, writer, coach, and advocate I am also a survivor of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and more. I would love to speak to your group, school, or organization. Catch my TEDx Colorado Springs Talk on abuse, violence, and talking about uncomfortable topics and then contact me to book me for a presentation or workshop!
